» Humanoid Robots Enter Shipyards

Houston-based startup Persona AI is collaborating with HD Korea Shipbuilding and Offshore Engineering, HD Hyundai Robotics, and Vazil Co. to develop humanoid robots for shipyard work, particularly welding. Under the agreement, Persona AI will lead the development of humanoid hardware and AI learning algorithms. The partnership aims to produce prototypes by the end of 2026, with deployment in shipyards expected by 2027.
